Case challenging the Device Management System (DMS)

This is a case challenging the directive by the Communication Authority of Kenya to telecommunication companies to install a device management system that would allow the Authority to pick out counterfeit devices. We represent Article 19 Eastern Africa who have raised the concern that the DMS would constitute a violation to the right to privacy.

This case is on appeal before the Supreme Court of Kenya
